A Day of Music, Laughter, and Celebration
Our annual Mother’s Day Tea event was made extra special this year with a very special 101st birthday celebration for our cherished resident, Della!! Surrounded by her loving daughters and son, Della was all smiles as everyone joined in to sing “Happy Birthday” and honor her incredible milestone.

The event was elevated by the sounds of live music, setting a serene and joyful tone for the day. Pianist Drew Gerard and violinist Mary Ann Marx provided beautiful melodies, while our very own caregiver, Cherry Brewer, took the stage with a stunning vocal performance. Cherry, who once pursued a professional singing career, brought warmth and nostalgia with each note – proving that care and talent go hand in hand at Homelife.

Delicious Homemade Food & Elegant Decor
The food was a labor of love, thoughtfully prepared by our owners and staff. Administrator Debbie Leventer dazzled everyone with her homemade baklava – a sweet, flaky favorite that quickly became the talk of the afternoon. From delicate finger sandwiches to fresh fruit, salads, cakes, cookies, and pastries, every dish was crafted with care and intention to reflect the warmth of the occasion.
We strive to make every celebration meaningful, and our culinary team exemplifies that commitment every day. Learn more about our Dining Experience and how we blend nutrition with joy.
Our team also took great pride in preparing the property for this beautiful day. The groundskeeping staff went above and beyond, meticulously cleaning, trimming, and enhancing every corner of our outdoor spaces. The result? A stunning backdrop for a truly memorable celebration—perfectly in line with our mission of providing Care and Wellness that encompasses the whole environment.

Bringing Families Together
What truly made this event unforgettable was the sense of togetherness. Nearly every resident had family members present to share in the joy. It was a heartening reminder of how vital community and connection are to the well-being of our seniors.
In addition to family, many friends, industry affiliates, and community members joined us to show their support and take part in the festivities. The tables, adorned with fresh flowers and elegant décor, were a perfect reflection of the love and respect we hold for our mothers and grandmothers.
Our commitment to hosting events that engage and uplift our community is ongoing. Take a look at our other recent celebrations, such as our Easter and Passover event or our Springtime Activities Guide.
